The Outdoor module offers two pathways to better wellness: 1) light/medium outdoor activities of walking, hiking, light stretching, and Yoga with walking and seated meditations in and around nature for an immensely energizing and calming experience. Known in Japanese as Shinrin-yoku -- ‘Forest Bathing’ -- this has been an official practice with the Japanese Ministry of Agriculture since 1982; and 2) Outdoor skills classes instructing fire-making, safe knife/ax/tomahawk work, wood processing, and basic Outdoor survival skills for Scouts and other groups. Sessions can 60, 90, or 120 minutes in duration and require a signed waiver before participation.
