Our four integrated Wellness modules are rooted in industry-based, academically credentialed, and decades' experience-earned programs. Combining world-class Kinesiology (the study of human motion) and Sports Science (American College of Sports Medicine), Mindfulness Meditation principles and techniques, traditional (Shotokan) Asian Martial Arts training, and military and Scouting Outdoor skills, Warrior Wellness, LLC, has a program meant for 'every body'!

Founder/Director of Warrior Wellness, LLC, Matt has spent his entire adult life living the four integrated modules that comprise the Warrior Wellness curriculum. He holds an M.S. In Kinesiology from Indiana University and a B.S. in Psychology from the United States Military Academy at West Point. A career, honorably-retired, Army officer and life-long fitness professional, Matt is a combat veteran, a 45+ year Japanese Karate Yudansha (black belt), American College of Sports Medicine-Certified Personal Trainer, and avid outdoorsman who loves teaching, coaching, and living the Warrior Wellness lifestyle! Matt’s trained Soldiers, cadets, families, and spouses at West Point and served as an Asst. Professor in the Academy’s prestigious Department of Physical Education. He’s led Personal Fitness, Wellness, and numerous Self-Defense Courses for decades with our Nation’s young leaders and fitness professionals.
A lifelong practitioner of Asian meditative arts, Matt has led Mindfulness meditation sessions for Wellness and Stress reduction with working professionals in New Hampshire, Costa Rica, Okinawa, New York, and Virginia, and with Karate Dojo Sensei and students in Texas, Florida, Okinawa, and Virginia. As a retired Army Lieutenant Colonel and avid outdoorsman, Matt regularly gives Outdoor Skills Workshops focusing on survival, fire making, and safe but functional ax, tomahawk, and knife use in outdoor venues. And since the 1990’s, Matt has given Women’s Self-Defense Workshops with corporate executive leaders, HR professionals, accounting teams, teachers, Army spouses, and the military in New York, Okinawa, Texas, and Virginia, and to sororities at Indiana University via his highly successful S.A.V.E. Self-Defense Program, the precursor that ultimately grew into Warrior Wellness, LLC.
